Galeria Casa Colon
GCC is a 20-year-old art gallery. We have redesigned the logo and also created the visual identity. We used the initial logo design method to keep the logo simple. We tried to give an artistic look and feel to it by choosing the right font and color.
Our challenge was to reflect the idea “people from various companies under one umbrella” in a completely professional logo design alongside creating visual elements that were supposed to build the brand identity.
We chose a dynamic logo design so it could recreate itself to suit to a particular context which is dynamic in a store platform. We combined two ovals and formed a bee shape. Golden ratio has been used to determine pleasing dimensional relationship between the two ovals. The logo size has been set in a way that could be readable on stamp.
By creating a soft and intimate logomark and logotype that address people of different ages and ethnic groups we tried to achieve the vision that was addressed.
